How to apply for an Alberta Student Number (ASN) and book a GED exam

Learner Registry
 
The Alberta Student Number (ASN) is the single unique identifier for all Alberta learners.
Through the use of the ASN, Alberta Education, Alberta Advanced Education, and all educational institutions in Alberta will have better information to evaluate programming and emerging trends in student choices across the education system. Students need a ASN to register for GED exams.
How to Register to Write the GED Test?
 
1. Get your Alberta Student Number (ASN) from the Alberta Education https://learnerregistry.ae.alberta.ca/ or call the 780-415-9242
2. If you attended school in Alberta, you would have an Alberta student number. If you forgot your number, you will be able to get it by contacting Alberta Learning.
3. Out of province or international students please contact Alberta Learning and you will get a student number.
4. When you get your number, visit the following website: www.ged.com to book the GED exams.
